In this class we learn how to prepare the body for the powerful Layback! We will discuss the stages of laybacks from the bodywave to deep bodywave then to laybacks. We will also discuss the release valves and ways of preparing the body for backbending.
This slow, 24-count Expansion combo is cued out of the Bodywave and features some of Violet's favorite isolations. The shapes in this combination are fun to watch and there are really great moments where the combination and music make magic!
In this class Violet introduces the first of the fast vocabulary. Learn the Fly Fusion Shimmy and Halcyon Cha-Cha, review slow vocabulary from Class 3, and do some drilling along the way. Please be sure to warm up prior to beginning.
