Betty has completed dozens of fitness and movement trainings including Personal Trainer, Group Exercise, and Pilates certifications. Betty has also has also completed a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training program (locals can train with her at Sun Moon Yoga).
She loves the challenge of designing mindful and effective strength and mobility training that helps dancers meet their goals. Betty loves Fly Fusion because it improves muscle isolation, posture, body awareness, mobility, and it’s just plain fun!
When you don’t find her teaching or dancing, Betty loves to write and play music with her hubby. She also moonlights as an instructional designer at university. Her Ph.D. In Education comes in handy whether in the classroom or dance studio - and loves to get nerdy with applying Educational Theory to movement classes.
